You are probably hearing more and more about the trend of BYOD - Bring Your Own Device. The Danby Group has software solutions that utilize many types of "smart" devices for data collection apps. And to make them even smarter, we offer hardware that integrates the software app with the reader, such as our featured product, Zebra's multi-function RFD8500 hand-held 1D/2D/UHF RFID reader. This versatile reader allows consumer devices to be mounted securely on top of the reader to provide a one-piece solution, or worker's can put the mobile device in a pocket and use the RFD8500 as a stand-alone reader. The RFD8500 operates with compatible Zebra mobile devices as well as third party devices such as Android and iOS. (Windows compatibility coming soon.)
