Siemens (Now Microscan!) Verifiers | |||
Always on the cutting edge, offering the finest in German-engineered instrumentation, the Siemens line of UID Compliance verifiers are an integral part of the Danby UID Parts Marking Solution. The industrial line of "vision" equipment has recently been acquired by Microscan. Press Release The versatile Microscan/Siemens DPM verifier (for direct part marks) allows full compliance with the DoD mandated Unique Identification (UID) policy. It is designed for verifying and validating Data Matrix codes created on a variety of technologies, including laser, dot peen, chemical etch and others. And it can handle a variety of shapes and sizes. The DPM unit can be used as a standalone desktop unit, portable verifier or mounted to an optional stand. It is the smaller of the two units pictured to the left. If you are using only Data Matrix labels and data plates, choose the LDP verifier. (LDP Spec Sheeet) Again, it is fully compatible with the DoD's UID policy as outlined in MIL-STD-130 and DFAR 252.211-7003. Easy to use, the LDP consists of a standalone desktop unit that is connected to a host PC. The unit contains the appropriate fixed lighting and lens necessary to complete the required data syntax string checking and Data Matrix print quality grading. The LDP model is for labels and data plates up to 3.17mm (1/8th inch) in thickness.
